Every year millions of tons of electronic waste, including computers, phones, and appliances, are produced around the world. Much of this waste contains hazardous chemicals that leak into the environment because of improper disposal and lack of recycling facilities. Much of this waste and contamination could be avoided through proper design and recycling, however. The Story of Electronics explains how the future could be better.
