The Green Holiday Potluck
Party
 Once
again, in the spirit of the season, for the December Earth-Friendly
program we will eat, drink, and be merry. As in the past couple of
years, there will be food, music, and good conversation; especially of
the Earth-Friendly kind. There will not be a formal presentation, but it
is expected that some of our well-traveled friends will have
nature-related slides to show. Please bring a covered dish to share and
your drink of choice (alcohol is allowed).
Date: December 11, 2009. Doors open at 6:30,
dinner starts at approximately 7:00 PM. Location: The
Unitarian Universalist Church of Roanoke, 2015 Grandin Road at Brandon
(across from Patrick Henry High School). It is free and open to
the public, but everyone is asked to bring a covered dish for the
potluck dinner. For more information contact Bob
Egbert at 384-7448 rsegbert@comcast.net. Earth Friendly Friday is
the second Friday of each month, and it is jointly sponsored by the
Roanoke Sierra Club and The Unitarian Universalist Church of
Roanoke.
