Protecting National Forests

Jefferson National Forest Public Meeting

  • Date:

Thursday, April 17th, 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm

  • Location:

Forest Supervisor's Office, 5162 Valleypointe Parkway, Roanoke, VA

  • Description:

Jefferson National Forest Public Meeting Thursday, April 17th, 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm Location: Forest Supervisor's Office, 5162 Valleypointe Parkway, Roanoke, VA Description: A short presentation at 6 p.m. followed by time to visit with the Forest personnel involved with development of the proposed plan. This is the typical "open house" format the Forest Service loves so well.

We may be planning something a little more fun to go along with it, so stay tuned! This will be our only chance to view the maps or talk to the planners in person. The Forest Service will not be taking public comments, though there will no doubt be comment sheets available.

  • The Comment Period: Why you should attend and what you need to do
