This cluster follows a string of wildiands down Walker Mountain, the large ridge that defines the western edge of the Great Valley, which is traversed by 1-81. Scenic Walker Mountain contains multiple attractions to please everyone, residents and visitors alike. It is crossed by the Appalachian Trail in the remote Crawfish Valley, features a number of quality trout streams, and offers a popular scenic byway for motorists. There are a number of outstanding wilderness candidates here, in this cluster with no currently designated wilderness.
