Testimony about Dominion Power Wise county coal-fired power plant. DEQ will take testimony from citizens on the air pollution permits for this plant on Feb. 11 at 7pm and Feb. 12 at 5pm. The location is St. Paul, Virginia where the plant would be built. Anyone who is willing to go down to testify or to lend support to those who do will be most welcome. Wednesday, February 20
3rd Wednesdays at 5. Meet at 5pm at More Than Coffee, a Lebanese restaurant near the corner of North Main and College at 235 North Main in downtown Blacksburg. We will take care of any immediate Sierra Club business, catch up on environmental news, and enjoy the good company. A regular event for the New River Group.
