Friday is the second Friday of each month, and it is jointly sponsored by the
Roanoke Sierra Club and The Unitarian Universalist Church of Roanoke. Location:

Saturday, April 11
Bottom Creek Nature Conservancy Trail Hike, Saturday, April 11. Hike above
Bottom Creek in Montgomery County, off of Rt 221, to an overlook with a
spectacular view of a 200 foot waterfall. Meet at the Food Lion parking lot on
N. Franklin Rd. in Christiansburg (near Cambria St.) at 9:00 a.m. Hike is about
five miles, half moderate, half easy. Bring a drink and a lunch, and please RSVP

Wednesday, April 15
3rd Wednesdays at 5. Meet at 5pm at More Than Coffee, a Lebanese restaurant near
the corner of North Main and College at 235 North Main in downtown Blacksburg.
We will take care of any immediate Sierra Club business, catch up on
environmental news, and enjoy the good company. A regular event for the New
River Group.
