Welcome! We're the largest local Sierra Club group in Virginia, with more than 3,700 members in the cities of Alexandria and Falls Church, Arlington County, and parts of Fairfax and Prince William counties. The Group's elected volunteer leaders work with interested Group members and state and national Sierra Club staffers to organize campaigns for clean energy, smart growth, public transportation, open space conservation and more. Join us!
Our weekly activist meeting has moved to a new night! Come have fun. Meet new people. Save the planet. Volunteer for your local Sierra Club every Wednesday night at 7 pm.
Come see Tapped on Tuesday, May 22nd. This is the next movie in the Sierra Club Sustainability Film Series which examines some of the key environmental issues facing us in the 21st century.
The MVG Book Club is reading Black Tide: The Devastating Impact of the Gulf Oil Spill. Join them to discuss it on Monday, June 4th.
