Susan Hafeli (Utilities Analyst/Fairfax County Department of Cable and Consumer Services) will discuss Energy Action Fairfax, a Fairfax County community energy efficiency program funded by the County's federal stimulus energy grant. Energy Action Fairfax is described as a pilot program that will help residents learn more about the importance of, and best strategies for, making their homes more energy efficient. As part of this program, the County indicates that it is planning events in seven communities across the County to connect neighbors with energy experts, conduct home energy assessments, and provide how-to instruction. Cost is $10 for the buffet (includes tax and tip). Cash is preferred.
