Documentary: Tapped
When:
May 22, 2012
6:30 - 8:30 PM
Details:
The high cost--to both the environment and our health--of bottled water is the subject of Tapped, a documentary that enlists activists, environmentalists, community leaders, and others to expose what is described as the dark side of the bottled water industry. It has been suggested that Americans may rethink their obsession with bottled H20 when they learn of an unregulated industry's willingness to ignore environmental and health concerns--and the problems that arise as a result. Discussion will follow the film. (75 minutes, 2009)
This film is a presentation of Sierra Club's Environmental Film Series on Sustainability.
