Speakers will be Pete Schumann and Chuck Craft, who are General Superintendents in the Environmental and Facilities Inspections Division, Land Development Services, Department of Public Works and Environmental Services. They will give an update on recommendations covering 1) erosion and sediment control on construction sites and 2) stormwater management, which were two study areas in the Residential and Infill Development Study initiated by Fairfax County in 1999. This study included public participation and resulted in a 2001 report focused on how to better address infill developments taking place in largely established neighborhoods of smaller homes in several environmental subject areas.
