Statewide Try Transit Week 2009 Dates Announced – Statewide Try Transit Week, which encourages Virginians to stop driving alone and try a form of transit such as bus, rail, carpool, vanpool or telework, will take place from September 21 to 25. Virginians can visit the event Web site to learn more about the transit options in Virginia, the benefits of using transit and for a chance to win a year’s pass to the transit service of their choice for a year.
