Cleaning the Beach on
Fisherman's Island

	Entrance to Fisherman's Island on the tip of Virginia's Eastern Shore is by appointment only and a person from the Refuge accompanies the group. We have scheduled our November Outing for several years to help clean up the Bay side beach which accumulates a lot of trash from passing vessels.
After collecting flotsam and jetsam for an hour or more, the crew posed for the camera with their booty. The wind was a tad nippy, but it was a beautiful day and all felt good about cleaning up a small part of the world. We'll do it again next November. Join us!
